The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) in our college serves as a dynamic platform aimed at fostering creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial thinking among students. The Cell functions with the objective of nurturing young minds to develop innovative ideas, transform them into feasible projects and build an entrepreneurial mindset that aligns with the evolving needs of the industry and society.
Led by student office bearers, the IEDC takes charge of planning and organising workshops, seminars, ideation camps, project exhibitions, startup awareness sessions and entrepreneurship development programs throughout the academic year. Through regular meetings, brainstorming sessions and hands on project activities, students gain experience in critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork and leadership.
The Cell plays a vital role in cultivating a culture of innovation on campus, motivating students to participate in start-up challenges, hackathons and state and national level entrepreneurial competitions. By engaging with the IEDC, students learn how to generate ideas, validate concepts, manage projects and understand the basics of starting and sustaining a business venture.
